How Much Better is Better?
Now that you have learned the techniques of hypothesis testing, you realized that the difference between the sample mean and the population men must be "significant" before one can conclude that the students really scored above average. The superintendent should follow the steps in the hypothesis testing procedure and be able to reject the null hypothesis before announcing that his/her students score higher than average.
